Company Profile

Neathery Technologies was formed in 2005 by Dr. Jim Neathery.  Jim received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. Previously, he worked as a Program Manager and Research Engineer for the Center for Applied Energy Research (CAER) for nearly 25 years. He has experience in a variety of research projects related to emissions control, electrostatic separation, waste utilization/remediation and energy conversion.  He has authored over 30 publications and six patents in diverse technological application areas.

 

Before joining the CAER, Jim was employed by the East Kentucky Power Cooperative as a Project Engineer responsible for environmental-control related plant improvement projects.  Over his 30 year career in engineering and consulting, Jim Neathery has worked to solve technical problems for the following companies and institutions:
